THE TRUTH COME TO LIGHT

Quest details

Level range: 19

Quest giver: Margrave of Yesode Morabia

Speak to Morabia, the margrave of Yesode, in his house.

Description

Morabia:

The Soul Fragments and the Experiment Report were things that Emperor Ruard kept. Under the pretence of being the emperor of Derion, he carried out countless misdeeds. The emperor called me to Tibered, where I was able to gather the items, and then I immediately took them to Yesode. The Experiment Report, which tells you, amongst other things, how to bring the dead back to life, was the only way to uncover the emperor's misdeeds. However, it was foolish to want to hide these items in my house. If the emperor had suspected something, my house would have been the first place he'd have looked. That's why I waited for the right time, which then arrived in the form of the typhoon.

[Player]:

And then you came across the Black Knights. Does that mean that Emperor Ruard has something to do with the Black Knights?

Morabia:

I don't know that either. Maybe Emperor Ruard initiated it or the fellows got hold of the information. Whatever the case may be, when I came across them in the Canyon of Secrets, I thought I was a goner. But I also knew there would be grave consequences if I just handed the items to them.

Morabia:

So with the little time I gained from the Guard Soldiers sacrificing their lives, I summoned all my energy to throw the Soul Fragment against a rock in the canyon. This broke the Soul Fragment into several pieces, which were then scattered in the typhoon. Unfortunately the Experiment Report is now in the hands of those creatures.

Morabia:

I heard that werewolves have been appearing all over Yesode... perhaps it's revenge for what I did with the Soul Fragment. And the poor people have to suffer for it. But the Experiment Report doesn't just produce werewolves, it also produces Victims of Experiments. But without the Soul Fragment, at least no experiment victims can be produced either. That's the only thing that provides me some comfort right now. However, I still wonder why those fellows kept me alive.
