Go to the rotten tree in the Dying Forest, north of the Rebuilt Elf Village. Report what you saw to the eldest elf, Bernoa. He will be expecting you in the elf village.
Description
Bernoa:[Player]:You want me to inform you about the soul fragments? Unfortunately I don't know much about them either. All I know is that the imps have started to gather in the Dying Forest, situated north of here. How about if you pay them a visit and find out what their intentions are? I'm pretty sure that the recent incidents in the Dying Forest are connected to the soul fragments. Go to the rotten tree in the middle of the forest. That's where all the imps are.
Bernoa:The princess said you would be able to tell me something about the remaining soul fragments. Well, I'll probably know more once I find out what's going on in the Dying Forest.
I wouldn't have thought that Princess Marlone Meridian is so trusting. It's a good idea to clear your own debts, especially if the person you're in debt to is powerful. Don't you think?

Did you find out anything about the Imps that are hanging around in the Dying Forest? By the look on your face, you don't seem to have found out much information.

You believe that we've missed something important, because of the imps? That wouldn't be anything new. It's probably true what you saw. They probably didn't come all this way just to play with the rotten tree. That's for sure. Something must have driven them out here. But what is it?
