Zerunda:

Brenda has wandered from the straight and narrow but nevertheless she still is my beloved sister. I wish there was another option but I have made my decision. I am sure she would want it like this too. She is a shadow of her former self, eking out a miserable existence. I do ask you, however, to deal with this matter as discreetly as possible. I don't want people talking badly about my sister. You can confide in Numi but neither the other witches nor the students should find out about this. Do what you like with this horrible soul piece, but please, avenge my sister *cries*

Zerunda, what is all this about?

Zerunda:

It may all seem very callous to you but I have a duty as the head of the witches as well as a sister. It is a burden but I have to carry it and everything else that goes with it, even if that is not easy for me. No, I have not chosen this and I know that Bernda has always suffered because of me but that is our destiny.

Numi:

I have expected you. Are you the one Zerunda sent?

We have to see this matter through. I know it is hard on Zerunda but it is Bernda's only chance.
